England was turned into a winter wonderland this week with #snowmageddon but with that brought a much slower week filled with home work-outs and online reading.
No matter how tough life gets you’ve got to keep grafting. Discover the fashion, fitness and other exciting things I have experienced this week.
#AboutTomorrow Festival is a celebration of women and female-owned businesses, a place of female empowerment and I attended two of these special events.
Inspiring women inspire women. This week I learnt to listen to my body, to slow down and find balance. And to celebrate women.
This week has been spent catching up on vlogs, starting a new box set and picking up March magazine issues… and the introduction to a Spring wardrobe.
Welcome to my Sunday thoughts. There is nothing I love more than lazy Sundays. Brunch, Sunday papers and magazine, lots of tea and long walks…
Everyone has one. You can’t escape what you see in the mirror or just about make out in the right light through a window, it follows you and shows your vulnerabilities. It’s not always the reflection you want to see but it is familiar and sometimes comforting.
There is something so satisfying about watching the trees change colour, to take a sharp intake of breath in the morning when the temperature has suddenly dropped and the pleasure of having as many cups of tea as you desire whilst snuggled under blankets at the weekend. This is my ode to autumn, why I love the season of change and the anticipation of the end of the year on the horizon.
“I want to know how the women feel, I want them to want to pull out the pages of the magazine and to use them as inspiration.” Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy knows women, she wants them to feel empowered, strong and confident. She believes in equality and in reality. She knows what women want and that we want it now!
Every month without fail I purchase ELLE magazine, it has been my bible since I was 16, showing me beautiful clothes, powerful women and inspirational content. To me it is ‘the one’. However, as we approach the changing of seasons (yet again) I prepare to get my head stuck into the all-important September Issues.
There are always hundreds of thoughts buzzing through my head, current events, when I’m next going to wash my hair, how much money I have left to last the month, plans for future travels and of course the everyday life struggles.
