This week only two things really kept me busy, plus one disappointing season finale. Where work was challenging, my mind found it hard to switch off at the end of the day which meant I needed good distractions and not mindless scrolling. Fitness: My main achievement for this week was my first run in over…
I’m back at it and this week enjoying a new podcast, outdoor living, Elizabeth Olsen and The Queen.
#AboutTomorrow Festival is a celebration of women and female-owned businesses, a place of female empowerment and I attended two of these special events.
Inspiring women inspire women. This week I learnt to listen to my body, to slow down and find balance. And to celebrate women.
We finally escaped January’s evil clutches this week and I honestly was moody all beginning of the week and then turned a corner on Thursday. So maybe the start of a new month and the whole Super Blue Moon vibes is true. Anyway, had a great fitness week, enjoyed a lot of down time reading…
Welcome to my Sunday thoughts. There is nothing I love more than lazy Sundays. Brunch, Sunday papers and magazine, lots of tea and long walks…
Everyone has one. You can’t escape what you see in the mirror or just about make out in the right light through a window, it follows you and shows your vulnerabilities. It’s not always the reflection you want to see but it is familiar and sometimes comforting.
In life sometimes you just stumble across beauty. Whether you’re walking in Regent’s Park in summer, down Oxford Street in glistening snow in winter or scrolling through Instagram from your sofa, there is beauty in everything. And I have just discovered a new love, it’s totally impractical but sometimes love is. Bonds Australia have just launched their first swimwear collection and it is modelled by Miranda Kerr… I don’t even know if I need to write more.
Spending a few sun filled days in Ibiza with friends was just what was needed for my tired mind. However, as it always seems to be, a few days of indulgence leads to a slippery slope of binge eating. Food. What a lovely and deceptively evil thing it is.
A fitness journey is a battle, full of highs and lows. Each journey is different as each desired outcome varies. For me it’s as much about having a healthy mind as it is about working my body to its limits.
There are always hundreds of thoughts buzzing through my head, current events, when I’m next going to wash my hair, how much money I have left to last the month, plans for future travels and of course the everyday life struggles.
